Introduction
You have a brilliant idea for an educational lesson. You sit down to teach it, but your computer is broken, or you need to teach the class from your phone. What do you do? This guide will help you create an online-only lesson that’s easy to share with students and other educators.
Bring Your Own Device Friendly
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is a new way of learning. It allows students to connect, collaborate, and communicate with others outside of the classroom. With BYOD, there’s no need for you to print out notes or handouts anymore! The visual classroom solution makes it possible for all students in your class to access materials from their personal devices in real-time.
Step 1: Prepare your lesson.
Before you can use a BYOD, you need to prepare the lesson. To do so, plan the content of your lesson and create it using apps and resources that are available in JAMstack or other application platforms. Learn more about creating lessons by reading our guide on planning and designing projects.
Once you’ve completed this step, you should have a project file ready to be published in JAMstack.
Step 2. Publish your lesson
To publish your lesson to the cloud, follow these steps:
On the left side of your screen, click “Publish.”
Click on the bookmark icon that says “Publish To Cloud” (this is in the top-right corner of your screen).
Choose which publishers you would like to have access to this lesson and then click Save Changes when finished making selections for each publisher/type of publishing option selected above it!
Step 3. Open the lesson on a device
To get started with the lesson, open it on a device. You can use any device you like:
PC/laptop
Mac/Apple computer
Chromebook
iPad or tablet with web browser (e.g., Android)
Smartphone (e.g., iPhone)
Step 4. Start collaborating
It’s probably a good idea to start collaborating as soon as possible, because you’re going to want to get used to the experience now. That way, when you get a chance to collaborate with others in your classroom or school district later on, it will feel like second nature.
You can also begin sharing files with other children around the world who are using their own devices for learning. You can collaborate with students in other countries and time zones at any point throughout your day!
IQTouch 1100 series is an important device for you to realize that BYOM. Participants can not only share their personal screens but alsouse their laptops to easily access the camera and microphone from a large screen, which enables freely switching the different VC platforms frequently used and easily starting a video conference on a touch screen with a higher level of audio-visual effect.
· 4K UHD Wireless Screen Mirror.
· Collaborate in Different Spaces by Remote Screen Sharing.
START-END OF TAKEAWAY
Bring your own device (BYOD) is a phenomenon that’s taken the education industry by storm, and for good reason. BYOD is all about facilitating learning through visual content in a collaborative environment, so it makes sense that you want to make your classroom as BYOD-friendly as possible.
The first step towards this is making sure you have the right equipment for students to use their devices in class. The second step is using visual content at every opportunity! If you’re still unsure whether or not your classroom is ready for BYOD, check out our infographic below.
