2.4G + UHF wireless microphone equipped with Networked Media Processor (NMP) is the main product for device control of the Q-NEX Smart Classroom Solution. Wireless microphone allows teachers to move around the classroom without being restricted by wires while they are teaching. But, do you know what 2.4G and UHF technologies of wireless microphones are?

In terms of 2.4G wireless microphone, it refers to the 2.4G band wireless microphone which the frequency band used is between 2.405GHz-2.485GHz. The 2.4G frequency band has high anti-interference and a transmission distance of up to 10 meters, which can realize the real wireless control function, high bandwidth, fast transmission speed, high anti-interference, and low power consumption. It is widely used in wireless earphones, wireless speakers, wireless microphones, and other fields.

As for UHF, it means ultra-high frequency, which refers to ultra-high frequency radio waves with a frequency between 300~3000MHz. It is often used in broadcasting and television field and applies to the systems where multiple channels work at the same time. The long transmission distance which can pass through walls up to 50 meters is supported by UHF technology. The wireless technology mentioned above is embraced in Q-NEX wireless microphone.

How does wireless microphone work on Q-NEX NMP?

It can automatically pair the frequency matching to NMP. Just point the infrared transmitter of the microphone to the NMP wireless microphone receiver module for 1 to 2 seconds, the frequency will be paired automatically. It is easy to use for teachers who need to move around the classroom flexibly. Students are able to deliver the microphone while answering the question. You will find that an efficient and interactive classroom is so easy to create.
